GENERAL TERMS:

All used engines purchased from Moto Salvagers are sold in AS IS condition. A warranty is NOT in effect. All engines are guaranteed to operate upon documented professional installation by a certified technician. Used engines are exactly that, we cannot guarantee the lifetime of the engine as engines require regular services and maintenance. All used engines have been thoroughly inspected for assurance that they are functional as intended. No maintenance or routine services are conducted, that is up to the end user (you). In some cases, we do not know the mileage of the engine or the service history, so it is highly recommended that you have the engine examined by a certified professional technician. 

All used engines purchased at Moto Salvagers must be installed in the vehicle that they are engineered for from the manufacturer. Bench tests do not reflect accurate specs or data for compression or leak down tests. The engine may have been stored in our warehouse for some time; valves, piston rings, and other like components tend to immobilize. 

Shipment:

Any shipping charges paid at the time of purchase will be applied towards crating of the engine/motor. The crated engine will ship from terminal to terminal nearest you. We typically use YRC freight but under certain circumstances we may use another service provider. There are additional shipping options available to you post purchase at your expense. If you are interested in these options: 1) doorstep delivery to residential address or 2) another commercial facility equipped with a loading dock and/or lift, please let us know so we can make appropriate arrangements. There is a minimum 3-day lead time prior to shipment, in some cases there may be a longer lead time. Don't hesitate to contact use with any questions regarding shipment.

RETURNS: 

THE SALE IS FINAL ON MX Locker AND RETURNS WILL NOT BE HANDLED THROUGH MX Locker.  You have 14 days from date of delivery to start a return by contacting us. If you decide that you wish to return this engine you must cover the cost of shipping. Upon return delivery there will be a minimum of 3 business days to process the return. The engine will be examined and tested for functionality. If there are any damages, parts removed or swapped a charge will be applied to the return of funds. If the damage results in a total loss of the engine there will be no refund. There is a 25% restocking fee on routine returns regardless of if it were mistakenly ordered, you changed your mind, or it does not meet your standards. If a return is required as a result of our own mistake there will be no cost to you for return shipping or restocking fee and you will be refunded any upfront paid costs with a valid receipt and any information to verify validity. Charges for damages, removed or swapped parts would still apply if necessary.

NOTE:

Incorrectly installed engines void all guarantees and policies and a return/refund will not be honored. Verified professional installation is a requirement for any disputes.
