Description
Up for sale is a used OEM cylinder head with camshafts and complete valve train for a KTM 450 or 505 dirt bike. These parts came off a strong running 2009 KTM 450 XC-F with low original hours. This assembly will fit the following bikes:
- 2008-2009 KTM 450 XC-F
- 2007-2012 KTM 450 SX-F
- 2008, 2009, 2012 KTM 450 SMR
- 2007-2008 KTM 505 SX-F
- 2008-2009 KTM 505 XC-F
This head is used but is in excellent working condition. Everything is still OEM and original. It appeared that the intake valves were a little loose but the exhausts were in spec (both near the loose end of the range). Although I'll admit I may have not been in the correct TDC as it had been a few years since I've worked on this era of engine and was going off memory. This engine started easily and ran strong. The cam lobes and journals show light, normal, cosmetic wear. No cracks, damage, repairs, or excess or unusual wear. Look closely at the pictures. What you see is what you get!
